Shopify

Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes personal information relating to your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve the Shopify platform and related services. Information you submit may be transmitted to and shared with Shopify and other service providers, including providers located outside your country. Shopify's handling of personal information is governed by its own privacy notices.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, software development kits, and similar technologies to keep the Site functional, remember preferences, analyze traffic, prevent fraud, and support marketing.

You can control certain cookies through our cookie-consent tool, if displayed, and through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may cause parts of the Site to function incorrectly. Where required by applicable law, we request consent before using non-essential cookies.

Some advertising activities may be considered "selling," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" under certain U.S. state privacy laws even when no money is exchanged. Where required, we will provide a method to opt out, such as a "Your Privacy Choices" or "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link. We will honor recognized opt-out preference signals where legally required and technically supported.

Marketing communications

We send promotional email or text messages only as permitted by applicable law. Canadian recipients will receive commercial electronic messages based on valid express consent or another lawful basis. Every marketing message will identify GlaxAura™ and provide a working method to unsubscribe.

You may unsubscribe at any time by using the link in an email or by contacting support@glaxaura.com. We will process unsubscribe requests within the period required by law. You may still receive non-promotional messages about orders, returns, safety, security, or changes to an ongoing transaction.

International processing and transfers

GlaxAura™ is based in Canada, uses Shopify and other service providers, and fulfills orders through overseas partners. Your personal information may therefore be processed in Canada, the United States, the country from which your order is fulfilled, or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. Those jurisdictions may have privacy laws that differ from those in your province or state, and information may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, or regulators under local law.

When required, we use contractual, organizational, and technical measures designed to protect personal information transferred across borders.

Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to complete transactions, provide support, maintain business and tax records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the purpose for collection, legal requirements, and the need to establish or defend claims.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach occurs, we will investigate and provide notices or reports where required by applicable law.

Children

The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact support@glaxaura.com so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it. Purchases for children must be made by a parent, guardian, or other adult with legal capacity.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to:

  • request access to personal information we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate personal information;
  • request deletion of personal information;
  • withdraw consent, where processing is based on consent;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • opt out of certain selling, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling activities;
  • request information about categories of personal information collected, used, or disclosed;
  • request a portable copy of certain personal information; and
  • appeal a decision concerning a privacy-rights request, where applicable.

To exercise a right, email support@glaxaura.com with the subject line Privacy Request. Describe your request and the email address associated with your order or account. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted, but we may require proof of authorization and direct identity verification. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

These rights are not absolute. We may deny or limit a request where permitted by law, including when information must be retained to complete a transaction, comply with law, protect security, or establish or defend legal claims. If we deny a request, we will provide an explanation where required.

Canadian privacy questions and complaints

GlaxAura™ is responsible for personal information under its control, including information transferred to service providers for processing. Privacy questions, access requests, and complaints may be sent to our Privacy Officer at support@glaxaura.com.

We will investigate privacy complaints and respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied, you may have the right to contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the applicable provincial privacy regulator.

U.S. state-specific notices

Residents of California and certain other U.S. states may have additional rights under applicable state law. The rights described above are available where the relevant law applies to GlaxAura™. If we engage in conduct legally defined as selling or sharing personal information or using it for targeted advertising, eligible residents may opt out using the privacy-choice link on the Site or by emailing support@glaxaura.com.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 without the affirmative authorization required by applicable law.

Third-party websites

The Site may contain links to websites or services that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. Review their privacy policies before providing information to them.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our practices, technologies, services, or legal obligations. We will post the revised version on the Site and update the "Last updated" date. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required for a material change.
